Chloe and Cooper "Whoe and Woop"

My 2 darlings playing in Jess's cubby house that Brian made many years ago. These 2 love it.

Origami Flower-2

I glitzed the card up with Chrystallina Kindy Glitz because it looked a little dull.

Here is another version of the Origami Flower. The different colour combos of the petals will make each of these unique.

Origami Flower

The background has been bugged with a folder from Oh My Crafts and inked.

The patterned paper is Basic Grey
The leaves have been punched.

And yet another flower tutorial;)
I was googling the origami flower that was made by Joey, my special student that featured in my previous post when I came across this tutorial by the very talented Helen Croft. It was the same petal formation but a different way of assembling the petals. Love them both. I sat and made heaps of these petals yesterday at lunch time. Here are 2 cards I have made already with this technique. Thanks Helen for the inspiration to change my other version.

Recycled Tin

For You: Christmas Gifts

I found this container in my cupboard empty. I have bugged a piece of patterned paper for the bottom part. Stamped a piece with a Keisercraft wooden stamp and have added more patterned paper and ribbon.
I have used Gel Medium to glue everything onto my tin.
The flower at the top is an Oragami flower that a very special student of mine made for her HSC last year. She made hundreds of them and gave me a few. I have painted it green and inked the tips with red and rubbed Kindy Glitz on the petals.
I have pulled one of these flowers apart and will show you how to make it later on.

Red, White, Blue,Green

I still love the red, white, blue and green combo for Christmas. Just call me a traditional girl.

I bugged the white and then bugged the patterned paper the opposite way.
The flowers are 3 layers and the middle one is curled on all the petals and popped up.

Christmas Bauble

Last year Cooper jumped on my reindeer's and pounced around the room. This year he drapes the gold pearls around his neck.

I was just playing with my camera and took this photo of me doing the tree.

Cuttlebug Christmas.

Unscripted Sketches #34

I love the sketches that unscripted put together. I wish I had more time to do them all. One day I will.
PRODUCTS USED
SALT cardstock
Basic Grey patterned paper
Cuttlebug
Oh My Crafts Folder
Olive Versafine ink
Kaisercraft pearls and wooden stamp
Crop-o-dial to put the holes in the page.
I punched the holes on the page and then taped the red cardstock behind so they look like berries from the front.

Christmas Tree Tag

I love Christmas trees and there are so many different ways to represent them. This one was made using 3 triangles of different patterned paper.

The tag has been bugged and inked. The triangles have been bugged and sanded.

Bobsy Twins

Meet the "Bobsy Twins". Choe and Cooper.Cousins but so much alike, more like brother-sister. Both dirty tomato sauce faces, scratches and bruises on their legs, blond, funny, boisterous, lovable and the list goes on.

Season's Greetings

After I cut out the shape in Basic Grey I bugged it , sanded it and then inked it so the white, green and brown shows up.

The Season's Greetings is recycled from an old card as are the red flower centres that have been sanded.

This shape I found in a piece of chipboard so I enlarged the outline on the photocopier and used it for this card. Love the shape.

Unusual Shaped Card

This card would be good to slip a lottery ticket, movie pass, gift voucher etc into.
Showing the card opened. You don't have to punch the circles into the card. It can be left plain.

Pansies are for thoughts.I always love the flower Pansy as it reminds me of my Father. He was on a job once and saw these Pansies and picked them and brought them home for me. I still have them as I pressed them and kept them from when I was around 15yrs old.

Winter Season's Greetings

Brrrrrr.. Winter

As soon as I saw this challenge I thought of Basic Grey and snowflakes.
I have bugged a piece of Basic Grey patterned paper and inked it with gold Versa Color Ink. It is matted on more Basic Grey and then on SALT cardstock.
I have used 3D Christmas ornaments on the card that I cut up. They were in a long line to throw over the Christmas Tree.

Christmas Tag

Unscripted Sketches 32. This one is a little late like a week late. Sorry I didn't get it posted before.
The Christmas Bauble has been made by layering Border Punched Cardstock that are scraps over the shape and then trimmed.

Fiskars torn Christmas Tree

Here is another fun Christmas Tree to make for a card. I used a FISKARS ruler to tear strips of patterned paper. I glued the strips onto cardstock and then on the backside drew this shape freehand and then cut it out.

The white cardstock in the card has been bugged and I used bronze Kindy Glitz to outline the sections of the tree.

In Memory

In Memory of Joyce Jeakings a lovely and talented lady.
In Memory of Melba(Mel) Openshaw a rare kind.
Both ladies I was blessed to have known in the papercraft field and I miss having them around.
